Heroes on the River is a 501(c)(3) non-profit outdoor adventure organization that aims to bring together combat veterans through a variety of recreational activities. These adventures include hiking, camping, expeditions, skydiving, fishing tournaments, and winter sports. The organization's mission is to provide veterans with a positive and exciting experience that connects them with the outdoors and their fellow veterans. Founder Adam Packham, a military veteran himself, comes from a family with a strong military background. He established Heroes on the River in 2016 with the goal of reuniting and building lasting friendships among combat veterans across the nation.
